What's Involved with Getting Veneers?
Getting porcelain veneers typically requires two appointments scheduled about two weeks apart.
First Appointment:
- Carefully removing a thin layer of enamel to accommodate the veneers
- Taking precise digital impressions used to design and fabricate your veneers
- Selecting the perfect shade of white to match your smile
- Placing temporary veneers to protect prepared teeth
Second Appointment:
- Removing temporaries
- Placing and adjusting your final veneers
- Polishing and refining fit for comfortable bite function
When you care for them properly, your veneers can last 10–15 years or longer.
